I just started playing chess on a regular basis a few years ago. I'm not what you would call a student of the game; I just love to play. I haven't read any chess books or anything like that, I don't take the game that seriously. I just find the game and the people who play the game intriguing.
I lost my Queen! My beautiful wife, Norma, past away on July 27 of this year. She was an amazing woman. The most loving and generous person I ever met. She was strong and courageous during her 12 year battle with breast cancer and never once complained; she just did what she had to do and lived life to the fullest in the mean time.
I know it's only been a couple of months since her passing, but the pain never goes away. My children and I are still grieving and trying to adjust. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, if you get an opportunity to help someone please do so, they need all the support and encouragement you can give. Thank you and God Bless.
