Learnt chess age 7, gave up age 11, Took it up again age 34. Started CCF Mindgames with my wife in 2003 supplying chess books and equipment to chess congresses throughout the UK. I am a keen enthusiastic, but not very good player, and also a qualified ECF Arbiter. We also supply trophies and engraving services (www.ccfengraving.co.uk) . My name comes from my hobby. I play trumpet, flugel horn and also cornet in the Croydon Symphonic Band of which I am webmaster (www.csb.org.uk), and at Coulsdon Christian Fellowship (CCF).
