An ex-pat from Santa Rosa California, I'm big into the outdoors! Snowshoing,mountain biking,backpacking,hiking and just old plain walks in the bush. I love gaming of all kinds be it Chess,other board or XBOX360. My prefered reading is of a historical nature mostly taking place in the darkages,medieval or renaissance periods. My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I started playing chess as a way to pass the time during the long, cold and snowy winters out in remote Quebec. I played mostly the same person over many a dram of fine single malt scotch wiskey, Montecristo in hand. Though playing incorrectly it was fun and upon wanting to play more found this site. I play for fun and nothing more though I feel to quite if I lose my Queen early on....sniffle sniffle..
