About Me:
I have lived in Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Canada, and United States. I love chess because it is an immortal game that displays patience, preparation and character. I can speak English and Russian fluently, but I can also communicate in German on a basic level. One day I wish to learn Spanish as well. I love math, it is the never changing science. Life is too short, experience everything you can in life. :) My Chess: Highest rated FIDE player ever beaten: 1500 Favourite openings/defenses: Scotch, Sicilian-Smith Morra (with white), Sicilian Najdorf and dragon defenses. Training: I was never trained professionally, but I learned how to play from my grandfather and uncle, then later from stronger players in school and local clubs. I moved around a lot so I was never a long-time member at any club.
