I started playing chess for fun when I was about 12 or 13 and fell in love with the game instantly. I made a couple of feeble attempts a long time ago to try and improve my game but back then all you had were books to learn by and most of them might as well have been written in Chinese.

Now I am a little older and have a lot more patience so I am actually starting to study the game with passion. I haven't played in decades so I am pretty much at a beginners level for the time being.
