I was an avid player in my younger days and used to frustrate my maths teacher by finishing the problems too quickly and pulling out a chess book to read til the end of class. I have not played actively for a number of years, but am slowly getting back to the game now. I am enjoying life as a nomad. I left New Zealand in 2000 to spend 6 years in the Philippines and another 2 years in Ukraine. Now, I find myself in Armenia ... I prefer my games complex, with pieces flying around all over the place. It seems more fun that way!
