My father taught me to play chess many many years ago. It's been about 30 years since I played with him and since his passing in January, I've wanted to get back to the chessboard. I'm not very good, but I really enjoy the game and now have a renewed interest in learning more and getting better. I got my husband hooked on chess.com (he's iammrcheckmate) and we both enjoy playing others and each other from our laptops. We love to camp and fish and spend time with our 3 kids and 5 grandkiddos.  Life is good. Here's to learning something new with each game - and getting better with each one as well.
