I work as a software engineer in the health care industry, and I am also a full time student. When I'm not doing that I'm usually shuttling my kids to various hockey rinks watching hockey games and drinking Guinness.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I've been learning Chess for about a year now. I've played chess since I was a kid, but I've been actively studying and trying to get better since January 2007. I've played in one OTB tournament and had horrible results. Next time I will be better prepared. I'll try again this summer. I'm not good enough to have a 'style' yet. I'd say my main strategy is to try not blunder while I wait for my opponent to make an obvious mistake. It usually has to be pretty obvious for me to see it too.
