Starting a pawn down but with the move is a 200 elo handicap. I would never play such a gambit against a higher-rated player. It could make sense against a lower-rated player if you felt they knew the opening much, much better than you. But otherwise 1.c4 e5 is a good way to lead the game into tactical waters without giving up anything. by likesforests 13 days ago

I think ...Bb4 and ...Qxd1 were small errors. After giving up a pawn, Black has to come up with a quick attack and trading off pieces helps White.by likesforests 14 days ago
