Was whipped by the late great Sammy Reshevsky in postal chess back in the day when Sammy would play anyone for $25 a game. Later I got to interview Sammy for Chess LIfe.
At one time I probably had the highest ratio of chess books to rating points of anyone on the planet. (Since then I've passed on most of the books, so I no longer own that distinction ;>)
