69 year old musician, college professor, ethnomusicologist. Playing chess since I was 7 years old. Played tournaments in university, and a little bit since. I use chess as a gauge of my mental acuity, and appreciate the social interaction in producing the work of art that is a game. I always strive to do better, and appreciate that in my fellow players. Remember folks, it's only a game!

P.S.  I don't use a computer or chess engine to help me.  What would be the fun in doing that?  The mistakes are all my own. (Occasionally the good moves as well).

If you want to hear my music, you can look me up on Youtube or on Reverbnation.com.

If you want to read some of my research on music in the Himalayas, you can look me up on Academia.edu.  I love having interchanges with people.
