I play piano for the federal government of the United States of America.   No, really.  My job is piano player in the Navy.  Yes, there is such a gig.  Currently I'm at the Armed Forces School of Music attending what they call the Senior Musician Course, which is basically Conducting, arranging, theory (both traditional and jazz), form and analysis, that sort of thing.
