I'm a 26 year old architect who recently finished his career. I'm now working 2 jobs, so my free time is scarse. I'm a music lover, play the piano since I was 13 and enjoy the simple things in life.
My father taught me how to play chess when I was 10. Since then I got fascinated by the game and one year later I was able to beat him. I didn't play to often at first because none of my friends or brothers seemed to enjoy it, and at the time internet was not an option for me. I won some very low level unorganized school tournaments and that encouraged me to keep improving.
I've played "informal" chess for years, but only recently started studying some opening lines and reading books. I think I'm specially strong at finding the minimal advantages on a given position (specially odd ones) , but my lack of long-term strategy makes it hard for me to get the iniciative during long and even games.
