About Me:

I'm an architect who recently finished his career. I'm a music lover, play the piano since I was 13 and enjoy the simple things in life. My father taught me how to play chess when I was 10. Since then I got fascinated by the game and one year later I was able to beat him. I didn't play to often at first because none of my friends or brothers seemed to enjoy it, and at the time internet was not an option for me. I won some very low level unorganized school tournaments and that encouraged me to keep improving. I've played "informal" chess for years, but only recently started studying some opening lines and reading books. I believe I'm more of a "reactive" player. I feel comfortable conceding a bit of initiative and just waiting for the minimal mistake to happen to strike back; nonetheless I will go for the attack if my oponent plays passively.
