Occupation: Climbing is better than working!
I learned to play chess when I was young, but I never played much after learning. I recently rediscovered chess on a trip to climb in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru and then began playing here shortly after that.
Climbing is my real passion; rocks, ice, mountains...I love it all. Check out my blog if you'd like to see some of my adventures.

Just like climbing chess requires participents to take ultimate responsibility for their actions and neccessitates the ability to think quickly under pressure; these are probably two of the things I enjoy most about chess.
Also like climbing it would seem there is no pinnacle of achievement, there is always room to improve. And that is something I like a lot as well.
Beyond climbing and chess I also enjoy photography. A collection of my photos can be seen on my blog. I have been fortunate to travel a lot in the last five or so years and I love trying to share my experiences with others.
