I started teaching myself chess in March of 2012. As evidenced by my score, I'm not any good yet, but that won't stop me from playing! My sad, eternally dropping rating might suggest that I'm not serious about the game, but I really do enjoy chess. Anyway, I'm having so much fun meeting new people and learning from everybody, especially from all of the delightfully creative ways in which I'm getting killed. :)
