USCF Rating: 1580
Hello! My name is Dan. I've been playing chess since I was a teenager. I played in school matches in Florida in the early 80's. I have a USCF rating of 1580, but that's probably a little lower than my playing strength since I've only played in a handful of rated OTB tournaments in the past 15 years or so. On the other hand, my chess.com rating is probably a few hundred points too high. I suspect an accurate rating would be somewhere near the middle.
If you feel like saying "hello" during one of our matches, talking about the weather, or whatever, feel free to do so. Everyone I have met here at chess.com has been very friendly and I hope to be the same!
