About Me:
Hello my name is, Pierre Korfiatis, I am 20 years old. I'm a Sophomore college student, majoring in Psychology. Born in Paris. I am part Russian and Greek. I learned chess at the age of 8, my cousins from Russia showed me the game, first time I played I've lost a lot LOL.For 4 years I did'nt really get into the game until at the age of 12. I was starting to play even better. And began to be passionate for chess. I went on my first chess tournament at the age of 13, I got first place. At the age of 14 and 15 I was already the best high school player. At 15, I went to my first national chess championship, I did pretty well, 3.5/7. We had a chess team in the High school I graduated from. In my junior year septembre 2008, I was the captain of the chess team.I play chess with black and white pieces. My Favorite oppenings are the Sicilian dragon, the french, slav. I open with E4. I play long chess, blitz and sometimes lightning. I personally like blitz chess. My favorite chess players are Etienne Bacrot, Alexandre Grischuk, Vachier-lagrave, Carlsen, Topalov, Sebastien Maze, Garry Kasparov and fressinet. My goal in chess is to be a master rated 2000; I love chess so much that I've decided to play chess for the rest of my life and to play better and better throughout my life.
