I used to play chess a lot, growing up, in and out of school. In my teenage years i enjoyed playing in some team competitions that were in an organisation like the boy scouts. Our team managed to get to the UK team national finals a couple of times, with very little help from me i must add! Since then i hadn't played for about 12 years and just now here at chess.com I'm getting back into the game. What a game it is! All the years inbetween i tinkered about with strategic computer games, some for fun and some at competition level but it is chess that really actively develops the mind and playing against other people ensures a fresh challenge every time.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I love a good hard and fast attack! I am finding the crowd friendly and fun which is a priority for me. I'm relearning how to play this wonderful game again and I'm and really appreciating all the great knowledge that is shared here by members.
I'm looking forward to the Live Chess coming out of Beta, Blitz here we come!
