About Me:
I am a postdoc at the Department of Physics of University of Salerno. I do scientific research in astrophysics. I focus in particular on the structure of the two main spiral galaxies of the Local Group (the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy) and of the Magellanic Clouds. I also study the gravitational lensing effects due to supermassive black holes. I am involved in the PLAN (Pixel Lensing Andromeda) collaboration, dedicated to the observation of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) in order to study microlensing of its unresolved stars.
