About Me:
The first time I remember playing Chess I was 8 years old!
I still have that chess board my Uncle gave me then...!
From time to time I've played with friends, co-workers and family!
In 1976 I've seen the first Chess Computer Engine! We all in our Computer Science Department were fascinated!!!
To expensive to all of us, obviously...!
Meanwhile, in 1979 I bought my first Computer, an Apple II Europlus...!
And it still works!!! :o)
Among a significant Apple collection... some played Sargon II
Now I grow thousands of cork-trees in Southern Portugal, hence my nick-name!
Last Summer I read again Stefan Zweig's Novel, CHESS!!!
And here I am sharing with you this Game we all love!
