I love the strategies and tactics involved. I am a universal player but more of a positional player. I can also play tactics when the position calls for it. I have not played any serious game of chess on the internet since early 2005, and I hope that by joining this site I could get myself back and learn a few things. I play over-the-board chess only occasionally due to my busy schedule.
I don't have a favorite opening that I deeply studied. I play my openings based on general principles, and I think the strongest part of my game is the middlegame. I love to analyze the games of Kasparov and Karpov. I also like the style of play of both Capablanca and Petrosian.
