O, chess is cool! I know every one of my friend thinks it's geeky, and that seems to be a shame... It helps your concentration and it's also fun! I wasn't awar of chess unitl I moved up to Alaska (from Montana, home of the hippies) and my Dad started to teach me. I thought it was interesting, but I wasn't too indulged in it. Then I read a new book serise (Demonata) and if you're familiar with it, this one demon captures victems and the friend/family has to play a game of chess with him to help the victem... I think that is what got my a bit more interested in the game. Now, I think I would play from 1-7 games per week. :)
