The only Chess rating I have is around 1500 on the POGO AOL webb site.
I'm a Retired Army Chief Warrant Officer CW3. Retired with 21 years of service in 1975. So I'm an Old Sholdier, but I can still kick butt.
My Brother John Herbert was a Chess Champion at the GD Aircraft Co. in Ft. Worth, TX in the 60's.
My brother taught me chess, but I've never beat him.
Recovering from my heart attack I've taken interest in the game. It has helped me to study the game and I have beating some players in the 1500 range.
So I have joined you guys so you can help me enjoy the game as my Brother did. He died a few years go so I don't have him to play with.
