My plans:
- Bring down my number of games to below 10 (status: Down to 16, with 'Chess.com 8' started. Only 6 to go!)
- Try to analyze with a chess board for at least 10 minutes per move, keeping the notes around (30 minutes once I have the number of games down enough) (status: only managed to do this a few times so far... doesn't really work with the goal of finishing my surplus of games quickly)
- Stop experimenting with openings, concentrate on my main OTB repertoire (status: 100% in new games so far)
- Stop playing thematic tournaments
- Do play the official chess.com tournaments every three months, because they're strong, and team matches and group tournaments because they're fun

Yesterday I played an OTB game at the club, and won! That feels great, as so far I had only produced four draws in the competition. Will post a puzzle and the moves tonight. Tomorrow we'll play a team match against the strong first team of Staunton ...Read more »
