I just play chess to kill boredom. I do admire people who spend their life on it ..that means they actually care about the game more than their life which is commendable for the game [if not for their life!]. I prefer OTB chess as people can't rely on chess programs or databases there (something that I notice is allowed in here - that's why u have 1600 'live' rated players sporting a 2200+ correspondence ratings!) which is amusing at the very least and annoying at its worst. Anyway I like to get to know people from the Old World as I find their history and culture quite fascinating and yes last but not the least.. 'Real Madrid rules'.
