I used to be a reasonably good player when I was at school (Board 1 for a couple of years) but haven't played seriously for many years. Want to get back into playing chess more seriously again as a hobby.
Like to play positional chess and grind out the win. Am a big admirer of Koichnoi and Kasparov who inspired me in my youth by taking on the Soviet Machine of Karpov et al.
