About Me:
I learned chess from my grandfather in 1981. He taught me everything I knew when I started chess seriously. In retrospect, I found that he was a very reckless player (lol), but he taught me some basic openings: Ruy Lopez, Giuoco Piano, and Sicilian. He was very prone to improvised openings. In the fullness of the term, He was a pawn commander. I owe all my successes to him. I'm an avid fan of chess and the thought process it requires. I've been playing chess since I was six and I have always seen that psycology and strategy behind gameplay. I find that if a creative player is playing a computer-like player, the creative one wins because his possibilities are limitless....cheesy but true. My all-time favorite players are, of course, Bobby Fischer for his dedication, Emanuel Lasker for his mental dominance, Teimour Radjabov for his creative sacrafices, and Nigel Short for just being Nigel Short. Chess Quote: “I like the moment when I break a man's ego....he becomes puddy in my hands after I crush him.” -Bobby Fischer after beating Reshevsky in 1958
