Atheist. By the term Atheist, I mean to describe a view in which I am FOR proportioning my beliefs to the evidence, methodological naturalism, reason, logic, science, humanism, reality, life, family, liberty of thought as well as of action within prudent limits that don't negate the rights of others. As one of the most viral anti-concepts in human history has been the doctrine of God, and as one of the most destructive anti-values has been placing a premium on an authoritarian claim without sufficient evidence and naming it faith, it is parsimonious to refer to all of the values that I am FOR, by reference to the conspicuous absence of holding to an anti-value (faith) in an anti-concept (God). The term for this conspicuous absence is Atheism.
