About Me:

I have only recently learned how to play chess -- it's not even been 1 year yet.  I've enjoyed playing after work or whenever I want to take a break. I would say that although my rating is not impressive, that doesn't mean that I can't do something impressive every now and then on the board. I've made some great, platonic friends on this site and it is because of them that I have continued to play this game. At the moment, my rating fluctuates between 800 & 1000 -- which is considered low and I attribute that to a number of factors -- such as being too busy in my day to day living and making rash decisions about moves when I do sneak a game in and playing more for relaxation than for serious competition.
