I started playing chess in the streets of Sun City Texas (El Paso), and by that i mean i literally learned how the pieces moved while one visit to the county jail... furthered my interest in chess when i went to court mandated rehab. Finally i began playing chess for more than just a few games a day while at the Annex jail in my town... After i got out... i continued to play!
