I am the son of a chess lover. He named me after Alexander Alekhine and was the main reason I was brought up to love this game as much as I do. I was taught at a young age, however learned extremely quickly and surprisingly well. Unfortunately he passed away and my knowledge and passion for the game were dwindling. I am now in college with a lot of free time trying to pursue my old passion for this game and am loving every minute of it.
