About Me:

I like the game of chess.

Thanks to the patience and kindness of my grandfather and my uncles, who were never too busy to teach and play with me and my brother, I've enjoyed the game since early in life.

To me it is just a game; although some would argue that chess is the best of all intellectual games, and that it is a part of the human legacy. I think it's a good game because it can connect people and also help maintain the relationship between them.

And as far as games go, I believe chess to be a reasonably worthwhile game for the young minds, with some benefit to its players, but I have also noticed that there are people who spend too much time, mind, and heart on it, much more than a game deserves.

For me playing chess is another good way to be with a friend or to make new friends, and a way to teach 'thinking' to the younger members of my family. What I enjoy most is trying to make their minds become more interested in 'resolving' the problem on the board rather than 'winning' the game, and I try to end our games with both of us talking about what the best moves could have been, and no winner. It is only a game...
