I go to the University of Miami, where I study music business. I am a bass player, but am starting to learn piano as well. I love jazz, legitimate, metal, and bluegrass. I also like to read, especially non-fiction. I enjoy books about math, and love number theory and topology, and I also like combinatorics. Sometimes I can't sleep. I love facts and trivia. Most of all, I love my girlfriend.
My dad taught me how to play chess when I was young, but I did not play with any interest or understanding until little less than a year ago, when I was reading a book that mentioned the Shannon number, which sparked my interest. I am slowly growing in my chess progress, and as they say in business, "If you aren't growing, you're dying," so I guess that's a good thing. I still make childish mistakes, but who doesn't? I believe that chess is the best game with which to grow one's mind.
