About Me:
I am currently a sophomore in high school and I like to play chess and DDR. I just started playing tennis and I'm already hooked. My favorite classes are math, science, choir, and drama and I would one day like to be a physicist.
My Chess Style / Favorite Openings:
I learned the game when I was 5 or 6 and I got heavily into it when I was 13. My game is usually pretty solid, but I do make blunders on occasion. My style is pretty dynamic and I look at quite a few sacs and such and try to see if they work out, but I can play most positions without too much difficulty unless they are very complex and take quite a bit more thought. I really like the English opening and the Caro-Kann and I like to play hypermodern openings, especially the grunfeld, but Im not very experienced in how to play with them yet, but I just like the ideas of them. I just started playing the french and the positions that show up are very playable and interesting, so I might make it part of my repertoire.
