Hello all. I'm a father of two (boy and a girl, aged 10 and 8), and have recently taken up chess again after they got involved in school. They have since lost interest in the game for now, but I'm still going strong. I'm a firm believer in playing against real people (like here) to improve your game, as opposed to against a computer. I keep trying to improve, but have been known to still make horrible blunders. I'm always open to a challenge.
I've been working in IT for a long time, and currently work for the Canadian Red Cross. I also love to read, mainly non-fiction, as I always find new topics to interest me.
