i just recently decided to start playing chess after being away from the game for many years. as a boy i competed in local chess clubs, but as we all know such hobbies often fade. although i have played a few games here and there over the years i have not gotten back into the true dynamics of the game. hence my current game is weak and uneventful. i do plan on changing that in the next couple of years.
in more recent years i have been a competetive powerlifter. i am the proud owner of several massachusetts state records and one world record. it is not a boast, but rather an insight into my competetive nature.
my future plans are to move to california and live my life in the land of sunshine. my girlfriends son has an interest in the game of chess and i want to develop my game so i may be able to teach him the game and enjoy seeing him develop into a fine player.
