I've been playing amateur chess for 35 years. I began with the book, "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess", as a child and have loved the game ever since. I suppose Fischer is still my favorite player, but I became an admirer of Kasparov in the nineties.
I prefer complex tactical positions, and I like to study new openings as time permits. One of my weaknesses is trying unusual openings of questionable soundness.
My opponents should realize that I often rely on MCO-13 as it is allowed by chess.com per, "You MAY use books, magazines, or other articles."
