About Me:
I teach at a small elementary school in West Virginia. At the school I teach physical education, and run a chess club for students in the 3rd thru 6th grade. I am an assistant high school baseball coach now but I have been an assistant football coach and head basketball coach at the high school level. Pittsburgh Penguin hockey fan going to games since 1985 and Pittsburgh Steeler football fan. I enjoy golf, (scratch golfer), bowl, and of course play chess. In my younger years played a lot of basketball and softball. I remember playing chess way back in the 6th grade. Didn't really know much about the game until my junior/high school years. Had a chess coach that taught us openings, basic endings, etc. and took us to tournaments. I have played on and off ever since.
