I live in Macao SAR, China. It's a small place. There's not much to do here except gamble, and I've no room in the budget for that!

When I was very small, Mom & Dad taught me the basics of chess...and my "career" ended there. Until last year, that is, when one night I finally could not bear the thought of another reality show for even five seconds.

That's when I discovered Chess.com.

I'm not rated and not likely to become so. I like to play, and want to play better. I am considering joining the local chess club, if only to provide a good laugh to the kids (and to myself).
