Hi, I'm calum. I love football, chess, computer games and astronomy. I don't work as I am a student, but I had my work experience from the 8-9-08 to the 19-9-08. During my work experience I worked in an office and my jobs were: General administarive tasks such as faxing, filing, photocopying, IT tasks and word processing. Not really my cup of tea at all, it must be said...
I am a sporty person and I am a keen supporter of West Ham United Football Club (WHUFC).
When I'm older, as most people know, I want to be an astronomer. I have had a keen interest in astronomy since I first knew about it and it has grown and grown ever since. I think my chess life started at about the age of 8 when my two friends played chess at my primary school. That has also grown and grown ever since.
My favourite openings are:
- Morra Smith Gambit Accepted (1. e4 c5 2. d4 cxd4 3. c3 dxc3 4. Nxc3)
- Queens Indian Quiet Line (1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nf3 b6 4. g3 Ba6 5. b3 Bb4+ 6. Bd2 Be7)
- Gruenfeld indian defence (1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 d5 4. cxd5 Nxd5 5. e4 Nxc3 6. bxc3 Bg7 7. Bc4 0-0 8. Ne2 c5 9. 0-0 Nc6 10. Be3 cxd4 11. cxd4.
- The unusual latvian gambit: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5
- And of course, the mighty Kings Gambit: 1. e4 e5 2. f4.

My all-time favourite: This love by Maroon 5! I don't no why I love it so much - maybe a good tune.
My 2nd favourite up-to-date song. This is an awesome song! Listen to it and find out!
This is the most uplift song you will ever hear! Stamp on the ground is a song with an endless brilliant beat, kind of a party song, but if you are feeling down listen to this song!
This is defiently my best song of current. I learnt all the words to the chorus in half an hour.
