I started playing chess after my daughter took it up in the third grade. My goal has been to progress at the same rate as her, so she has someone challenging to play on a regular basis. I think I went overboard, though, and surpassed her!
I'm much better at correspondence chess than OTB. I'd like to develop my OTB skills to the point where I'm just as good there. I'm also pretty bad at blitz, but I want to improve my longer game before working on that.
