I'm in sales in my day job and play occasional jazz piano gigs and compose for fun. I live with my lovely wife and cat at a highly secret location in the southwest. I began playing chess when I was about 24 through an extended education course taught at a local university by a psychology professor. I love the beauty and depth of the game, how much there is to learn, and the ability to influence outcomes through application of subtle principals. I look forward to being pretty good by the time I'm 80, with any luck.
