1956: Born in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
I really started playing chess when GM Bent Larsen, Denmark in 1971 lost 6-0 to GM Bobby Fisher in the city of Denver U.S. state of Colorado.
I have since used (maybe too much) time on chess (face to face) and correspondence chess (by letter and e-mail).
I stopped in 2005 to play chess because of developing health problems.
Nevertheless, I still call myself an experienced chess player.
One thing is clear to me - I have the experience with me and my age against me
Chess clock has become my enemy so this type of chess - 3 days - suits me better than playing eg blitz.
