Occupation: EMT
I graduated with my bachelors degree in chemistry about a year ago, and now I'm applying to medical school, talk about nerve wrecking. So during the interim, I am working and volunteering as an EMT, so I spend over 50 hours a week on an ambulance.
I haven't played chess in a long time, probably 5 years or more (which accounts for about a fourth of my life, or about half of my chess playing life) The major reason for not playing lately is not having anyone to play with, I'm one of the few that play in my family, and none really wanted to learn. So, I'm a bit rusty on my skills, but looking for the opportunity to improve. I like playing chess because it requires critical thinking, trying to stay one step ahead.
