My big sister taught me to play chess when I was 7 years old and have been in and out of the game ever since. Then I taught my brother to play around the same time period. He acquired one of those giant chess sets incorporating a large chess rug and huge solid rubber pieces lol. We had a lot of fun with that set...it was a real novelty.
So here I am on chess.com at 57 yrs. old still playing this universal language called chess with people from all over the world...gotta love this game
