I am an Episcopal Priest trying to learn chess. Someone asked me if prayer helps in chess games. Sure it does - it can help calm the nerves and sharpen focus. Does God intervene in chess games? I do not think God cares who wins or loses: God wants us to treat each other with respect and dignity.
