About Me:

I am a self-proclaimed jack of all trades. I was called to be an evangelist when I was 12 years old. I love to write whenever I have time (which I hardly ever do). I love the sense of accomplishment of repairing a car or fixing something around the house and hearing my little boy, Alec (3), say "Yay! Daddy fix it!" I work as a medical transcriptionist from home on a midnight shift, so I'm online at all hours of the day and night. My passion, however, is getting a ministry started in New York City sometime very soon. We will be moving up there to evangelize all the various people groups while supplying a "church watering" ministry to a few independent Baptist church plants that are already there, with more coming! Our ministry name is On the Go Ministries. My wife, Hannah, has put up with me for over 6 years now, though if you include our high school and college dating years, we've been together for over 12.

Chess is my hobby. My goal is to one day be a titled player. My favorite chess quote that applies to our everyday lives comes from Lasker, "When you see a good move, look for a better one."

Mark 16:15; Romans 11:36

Winchester Invitational 2010

Submitted by dtbrenneman on Nov 1, 2010 8:47am.

I have had a couple requests to publish the games from the Winchester Invitational tournament.  My opponent was Del Hall.  Thanks, Del, for the games.  You had me playing "your game" as it were.  I had to break out of my shell a couple games.  T...Read more »
