Occupation: Dumbing stuff down for average people.
Mediocre designers make things complicated. Great designers make things simple. Engineers are a petty childish breed, and are very resistant to admitting errors. The better they get, the worse they get. Supposedly I have the same IQ as Einstein, but that doesn't mean much in the real world (or chess!). Intelligence is merely how fast you can solve a puzzle; experience is already knowing the answer. Pit a highly intelligent novice against an experienced person, and there is no contest. Experience wins every time. I am blessed with a wonderful life partner who is my superior in so many ways, and a plethora of other wise, experienced, and practical people in my life who keep me on the straight and narrow. Without them, I would be lost. /*University by itself does not make you smart, innovative, or interesting. You can't put in what God left out. And you can't fix stupid. You can educate somebody beyond his level of intelligence, but then all you have is an expensive idiot.*/
