I was born in Williamsport, PA. I am married with one child (he's an adult now). I've been a Software Engineer (computer programmer, software architect) for 26 years.
Been playing chess since I was 7. Been a USCF member on and off since the 1980s. Haven't played competitively for a while. Have played in correspondence tournaments, but it was over a decade ago.
My other primary hobby is playing the Drums.
