About Me:
I moved to Menlo Park in July 2007 to take my first job out of college. I studied econ and finance, so I ended up at a econ consulting firm. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I try to temper my nerdiness with physical activities like running and cycling. I also try to keep up on new music so that I don't completely forget my hipster college years. I won my first and last chess tournament as an eighth grader. I destroyed my first opponent, because I don't think the kid had played much before. I got a by in the second round, and the tournament was so small that the next round was actually the final round. I beat that kid too, because he made some miserable blunders. Afterwards, I didn't touch chess for a few years until mi amigo Rafussen decided to become chess club president. We were a good match for a while, but he got a serious at some point, and now I'm trying to retool and crush him at least once before I die.
